The Medical Section in the United States and Canada stands as an organization taking responsibility for anthroposophic medicine and therapy.  Annual conferences are held under it's auspices (for more information, please see the calendar of events).  Its CCC--Circle for Caring and Cooperation--is a rotating group composed of actively working members.

Gerald Karnow, MD, leads this group.

• The principal professional organization standing in the public is PAAM (Physicians' Association for Anthroposophic Medicine), in existence since 1978, with about 60 members. The current president is Peter Hindenberger, MD.
• The Fellowship of Physicians is the circle of physicians with First Class Membership and has been continually active since 1967.  Current representatives are Drs. Gerald Karnow and John Takacs.
• Members of the Physicians' Association for Anthroposophic Medicine are available for consultation.
