• The principal professional organization standing in the public is PAAM (Physicians' Association for Anthroposophic Medicine), in existence since 1978, with about 60 members. The current president is Peter Hindenberger, MD.
• The Fellowship of Physicians is the circle of physicians with First Class Membership and has been continually active since 1967.  Current representatives are Drs. Gerald Karnow and John Takacs.
• Members of the Physicians' Association for Anthroposophic Medicine are available for consultation.
• This list is maintained by the Physicians' Association for Anthroposophic Medicine and compiled from its current membership.
• Members who have completed a certification process in Anthroposophic medicine are indicated (*).  Anthroposophic physician certification is open to medical doctors (M.D. and D.O.) with full standard medical training and qualifications. Certification in anthroposophic medicine requires: three years' part-time (or one year full-time) training in anthroposophic medicine; two years' mentored clinical practice; and a written and oral examination. A parallel certification process is available for anthroposophic nurse-practitioners."
